Short term probably Cabrera or IKF. Long term maybe Michael DeLeon who played at Frisco last year, or maybe they put Cabrera there and find a long term back up for 3B.

There is not much depth for the OF in AAA until Heineman gets fully healed. It is a minor league deal with a big league ST invite.

Pence also provides depth should we decide to trade an OF.

He also allows us to send Calhoun down to get regular playing time while Pence sits on the bench here.

They haven't signed what they really needed in awhile now.

I don't think they see too many urgent needs until at least 2021. They may start to build toward that beginning next offseason, but I don't believe they feel they need anything of quality for 2019 and probably not for 2020. They appear to feel that it is too early to acquire talent needed for 2021 two years before then. They may feel a lot different about doing it a year in advance beginning next offseason.

If we can get through a season without any of our top 10 starting pitching prospects having a significant injury that will be a huge success for the organization.

Agree. The infield looks set with the possibility of 3rd and catcher. The OF is too with the exception of DDJ and he may improve. Rotation is our hold back imo.
