Given the number of dumb and awful uniforms that get released every year, I figured I'd create one thread to capture them all.

So we fused the Illinois Fighting Illili and the Cleveland Browns together and this happened. The two ultimate losers combined into one. Fantastic.

As bad as the new uniforms are they are still better than the clownsuits y'all have been wearing the past few years.


But one has to ask....is it so hard to come up with a modernized version of this?

I can't stand stripes; especially on helmets. It's just so ugly lol.

They're not as cool as the all black Iowa wore vs OSU a few years ago but I still like them. Personally I would've gone black jersey and reversed the colors on the helmet

All yellow is awful. Just as the surrender whites Nebraska wore in the Pelini and Riley eras were.

The black ones worked. I don't think teams with classic style unis should be messing with them, but the black ones weren't over the top.

Plus Iowa basically stole the Steeler uniform anyway, why make things worse?

Fans like a little switch up every now and again . They're being pretty well received here so I guess that's all that matters
