Yea. And to think that the front office didn't think it was neccassary to spend some of that left over cash on pitching. Brilliant.

Kimbrel is still out there.

That said, jury is still out on Baldelli overall. But that might have been the worst managed inning in Twins history. I genuinely don’t know what he was thinking.

Its clear to me that our pitchers are the same ol same ol from years gone by. We really needed an ace. Not these trash heap hopefuls. Berrios is a solid #2 guy, Odo is a joke. Perez...a joke. Pineda might turn out servicable, and KGb seems to have forgotten what he learned last year. We needed that leader type guy at the top. It was a huge mistake to not go out and get one.

Now, cast aside Castro, and the offense is gonna be solid. But we cant hope to win every game 9-8. An ace really might have put us over the top......but these are the Twins. They dont do that.

Need to remember and put in perspective, that he suffered from e coli at the end of January, and reported to spring training nearly 15 lbs lighter. Not surprising if he is behind schedule, but if he caan give us the same 2nd half as last year... I think we'll be there in the end. :suds:

We really need Cron and Marwin to get going. Cruz(when hes been able to play AL games) and Schoop have been great. Other two, pretty damn bad

Stupid ump being in the way of a routine DP ball and getting hit by it hurt us bad.

Bases loaded, nobody out, and the best hitters in the lineup coming up and we don't score? We deserve to lose this game.

Ugly habits are still showing up. We have starters getting blasted to start the game, or we have a ton of trouble closing out a game we dominated from the start. We might be winning now, but these things still concern me. I like the hitting though. Good job Buxton, but Polanco is the key.

For Buxton, I think the manager change was key... Baldelli has said all the right things this spring, whereas Molitor always seeming had something negative to say. "He needs to work on this. Needs to work on that." Baldelli has basically said, go get it.

Now - if he can manage to stay injury free for the year, and stop running into walls...

As for Polanco - he's been insane. Almost 2 cycles in the span os a few days?

Tough when they haven't had a regular schedule to the start of the season. Once they can settle in and get a rhythm going, I think they'll be fine. So many new faces. New manager, etc.
