Had the FO gone out and grabbed us a legitimate Ace, or even top tier starter, this team would be in a great position. This offense rocks. Power up and down. But the good teams are going to pound our 3rd, 4th and 5th guys. And, in that rare chance that they dont, our bullpen will give it up to them. We were so close. A real starter and/or a real closer might have made all the difference.

I hate Levine’s bullshit reasoning this offseason about “not making too big a move if we don’t feel like we can really win it all”. Horseshit.

Red Sox are down. Indians could blow it up anytime. Astros and Yanks are way better than us but that’s it. Maybe we get hot in a 5 games series vs Houston and someone beats the Yanks for us.

Or maybe the Yanks keep having 3 injuries a night.

We need to make moves to contend. This is a legit top 5 AL team with a couple more arms.

Well, if we can consistently beat bad teams and average teams, we'll still end up pretty good.

On twitter Astro's sports page last night was screaming for their team to take more pitches so they could get to the bull pen quicker.....can't say I disagree from their POV

Just hitting ropes all over the field. The 2 outs have been Rosario robbed to lead off inning(he needs a hit badly) and Kepler doing his job with a sac fly.
