I think Romero still has a future for the twins

He’s got the stuff. I mean last year his first few starts were great.

But he clearly isn’t ready right now as a reliever. He’s getting rocked in AAA

Our strategy right now is send down a struggling MLB reliever and replace him with a struggling AAA reliever. Not a good recipe.

At least they are showing signs of understanding we have a problem. But recycling past failures with each other isn't going to get it done. If we want this bull pen to get solid (and I really do) this team is going to have to look outside the organization to find answers.

They need to do it sooner, rather than later. Lets not let winnable games slip away from us. I fear by doing that, the confidence of this team my falter, and we might see other aspects begin to fail. Get a couple of new, viable arms and keep the pressure on. Come Sept 1st, leave no doubts who is in charge in the central.
