There is yet another example. 8 innings, but only one productive one. Good thing the Royals messed up and gave us that extra run at the end, or we lose this game. As it stands, maybe we pull it out. Maybe some one stands up with some individual heroics to bring it home. Or they steal it from our pen. But it kills me...the Royals just aint that good. We shouldn't have this problem.

Well, I was asked what I meant, and the Twins stepped up to demonstrate. 1 inning of multiple runs. the rest of the game...zip. But we got 5. Whats our avg? 6? But our opponent had 3 innings of multiple runs, and it looks like they will win this one. Yes, we still have the 9th, but I'm not inspired. Neither are they, for that matter. Which is concerning, being that we haven't won anything yet and could still get knocked out of the picture altogether. You would think we would have more fire in our bellies. Who can say with this bunch.

Yes I would. Just look at what you are getting today. With the other two, you at least have a shot for something decent, and they may develop. With Perez and Gibson, you know what you have, and it doesn't have an up side. I guess my return question is...you would rather keep Perez and Gibson knowing that this is all you will ever get from them? Unacceptable.
