Trying to give the game away. You can only get away with that when the other team blows. Good teams will just pound you for being stupid.

I said a few months ago, bring up the young kids and cut the dead weight. I would live with the results and not complain. Some one said that I still would, but I promised I would not. And I have not. As a matter of fact, I am far more pleased with what we have seen. Dobnak, Smeltzer, Stashak, Littell…..so much better than Dingleberger, Parker, Magill, Harper. The improvement of Tuffey and DisMay (to a degree) and a solid Romo have actually rounded upwards our bullpen. With the loss of Pineda, I really wish we had landed a true ace. Even with Pineda, it would have put us in a great position. The way this offense disappears for long stretches, we need to be able to keep the opponent in check. Its our only chance. Not sure we can do that with what we have at our disposal.

define "long stretches"
Are you watching the games? They routinely go 5+ innings where they scarcely get a hit. And it doesn't matter who the pitcher is. They cant hit. Hell, they scored 5 in the 3rd the other night then didn't score again for 9 innings. They won, but hell. We are suppose to be "bad" in the powerful way.

And there is this shit, where their starters simply aren't ready to start. Happens way too many times.

And we have one of those line ups in there tonight that looks like it will be hard to get runs. And Berrios spots them two. Ace my ass. The kid doesn't have the focus or the drive to maintain that label.

Yet shockingly, we have the second most runs scored in baseball this year. Hmmmmmm.

Just wait until we get to the play offs and these fools get blown out because A- the give up runs early and B- cry about it and fold offensively. And by the time they get any offense going it will be too little too late. When it happens I will be here letting you know, if you weren't blind, you would see the problem right in front of you. it wont be something "new". But whatever.

LOL another issues we have a habit of ...having a big inning, only to give it right back.

See, thats the thing about people like you. You have a 50/50 chance of that happening. Its the playoffs, going against another great team. One is going to lose. If they lose, you just go on about how fucking lucky we are that these issues didnt occur, and say they will happen in the world series. If we lose, you will laud yourself off as brilliant and how amazing you are to have seen it coming. Heres the issue, every damn team has flaws, and every team has whiny bitches like you who will constantly bitch until they are right. Guess what, only one team wont have annoying, bitchy fans proclaiming they are geniuses and that they know everything. I hope we will be that one team at the end.

And one more issue that is becoming bad habit...Rosario's laziness. In the field, at bat, and on the bases. For your so called "team leader" you need effort every play, every day. Gaetti? Puckett? You ever see then fail to try like that joker? Some of these guys could be good if they had the drive to be so.

Just to clarify- if we draw Houston in the first round, and fail to get going with the bats, there wont be enough time to claw our way back into a game if we give up the first 6 innings before someone does something.

If its the Yankees, they will be so far ahead of us, we wont be able to catch up.

And as my genius notices - these guys seem to be dead in the water until someone does something, and then BOOM, they explode...sometimes. Like Wades triple. It woke them up. But damn, you are going to need more than one big inning to win in October. I just don't see the discipline in them to do that. If I'm wrong, so be it. But their track record says otherwise.

There is yet another example. 8 innings, but only one productive one. Good thing the Royals messed up and gave us that extra run at the end, or we lose this game. As it stands, maybe we pull it out. Maybe some one stands up with some individual heroics to bring it home. Or they steal it from our pen. But it kills me...the Royals just aint that good. We shouldn't have this problem.
