Well, if Perez can win today, he has 9. It is very conceivable that all 5 starters will win in double digits. That's cool. I have never seen a Twins team do that. The sad part is, every pitcher we have is a mid rotation, back rotation guy. All those home runs kind of put an illusion on our starters being better than they are.

That being said, an Ace is imparative if this staff is ever to improve. Much like Frank Viola, I believe Jose would benefit majorly by having someone on the staff who could be the #1 guy. Its too much for him right now. Its like Tapani and Erickson benefitting from Jack Morris. You know they did. What would the effects be on a Berrios, or a Odorizzi, or even a Gibson. All I do know is, none of them can cut it as it now sits. Doing something while we have the bats to be effective is paramount. The FO had better make sure it happens this off season. No cheap retreads that you "hope" have bounce back years. Do their fucking jobs and get us a winner/leader for the staff. Knab a closer while your at it....

I understand and i agree. But it is what it is. We have to cheer on and support what we have. 87 twins had no reason to win either.

Yep. He was doing well. Lets stretch him out and see how long he can hold down the fort. But 3 or 4 innings a night from the pen is too much. Especially when you are talking about our pen.
