I love McKennie. His attitude and work rate is American. He looks to get scrappy he is physical. that’s what we want to see as Americans. We are not 5’7 South Americans. We need to be physical and dominate.

Curacao it is. USA should make the semis. Costa Rica or Mexico will be out in the quarters. Set up pretty good for USA.

Second 11 for USA did not look great. Not one of them knows how to cross into the box. Other than Cannon and Altidore I wasn't impressed.

I am late to the band wagon, but I am so 100% fully on the Omar Gonzalez should never even be on this squad ever again side. WTF is he doing out there? How many times did he lose his guy or a battle in what would have been a scoring opportunity against a better class team

I'm actually a lot higher on this squad's potential than most I guess. Adams and Brooks are two of our best players and Yedlin is in the next wave and none of them are out there. I think with health (obviously don't have it) a better striker who can finish (why is Sargent not on this team) and a left back that can play both sides of the field we are as good as Mexico is right now.

Also need Long or Miazga or someone else to step up and team up with Brooks for the next half a decade.

We finally have a shit load of young kids with potential. Interested to see how they develop. Remind why Weah isn't on this team?

Boyd is becoming one of my favorite players. Can make space for himself, get his shots off and plays hard. Very impressed.

Last nights squad was kind of horrible though.

I know, but that was because they asked Berhalter and he said he wasn't calling him up for the GC so they put him on the U20. He maybe shouldn't be starting but he should be on the roster.
