Logan Smothers as well as Jameson Williams will be on campus this week Logan Smothers is a 2020 quarterback prospect who has a Hudl film that is definitely worth the watch I really hope we get this young man he is quoted as saying Nebraska is going to be the team to beat it's going to take a lot for me not to go to Nebraska is what he sayz

Offers from Austin, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and USC Trojans.

Oh Wait.... That's Austin Peay, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee Tech, the Troy Trojans, and Alabama Birmingham.

Hope we can hang on to him.

I'm actually just joking around. The kid hasn't even started his jr year.
I have complete faith that Frost knows what he's looking for and can put the pieces together.
Just kind of funny that it's a big deal that "Nebraska would be the team to beat" out of those other options.
Well duh.
Let's see if Nebraska is still "the team to beat" if Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio St. etc. toss an offer.

These are annoying super pop up sites and maybe paywall,

Stanford, Vanderbilt showing interest in Iowa DE target Mosai Newsom, who's poised for a big summer

A multi sport athlete, just what Scott Frost loves

"Newsom is a priority 2019 target for the Hawkeyes. He said he plans to wait until next fall to make a decision. That way, he can take game-day visits if he needs to split hairs at the end.

Newsom, who checks in at 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds right now, entered this season as a Division I prospect based purely on potential. He’d logged only six tackles and one solo sack as a sophomore.

But those stats, combined with his huge frame, multi-sport athleticism, sprinter speed and explosive hips, were still enough to earn him early offers from South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.
"

Iowa DE target Mosai Newsom's National Combine honor signals his rising recruiting profile

College football recruiting: Best underclassmen from the U.S. Army national combine

Ex commit Marquez Beason was on that first team US Army also.

I was being facetious. I'm not gonna get worked up about a kid who is not gonna step foot on campus for another two years.

RA do you know the monkey knife fight that is going to occur once this kids seniors season rolls around? You're going to have teams like The Bethune-Cookman coming out of the woodwork The Citadel Thee Campbell Camels are in the mix. This will go to the wire you just wait and see.

Another good get from nearby... locking up Colorado will be important for the future. Kid has the size already, good to have him aboard.

He’s got a teammate that’s pretty good too, would be good if they visited together
