I say hold on to what they have. Unless they're going to trade Choo or Pence for pitching. Don't want them to trade any of their top prospects.

I think you're right and it makes little sense to think from a readers perspective: How can you be tougher on the Cowboys - biggest game in the state/perhaps beyond - yet play softball when it comes to the Rangers?

I haven't heard Norm in awhile, but he always seemed to coddle the Rangers organization as well.

I love how they pitch the deal and then say "highly unlikely." Probably due to the Indians needing Bauer for their push to unseat the Twinkies or hold a WC spot. But it is intriguing. Offloading Mazara with all the talent up and coming in the minors might be good.

The one answer they need to be comfortable with is that Mazara will not be another Cruz to do that deal.

Having talent is one thing putting the talent to good use is something else entirely and is something GMs and the fans need to keep in mind.
