First, DAMN GOOD POST OF ADDRESSING THE ISSUES........

Choo seems to be for me, a 'no brainer' but I've thought this for several seasons. How's that worked out so far?...............100% with ya on Cabrera/Forsythe.

I do think we - us fans and regardless of team - think WAY to singularly......Packaging is the 'devil-in-the-details..........Put Choo with Minor and the equation changes completely..........Team A needs a solid 2nd/3rd line starter or better and could use a solid hitter/part time OF/pinch hitter, and team B has both. Team A has a loaded farm system, therefore......etc etc.......Y'all know where I'm going with this.

My big concern is will the front office get adequate compensation for what I deem to be very good players?

See.... here’s my thing with prospects. With Mike minor and Choo, in a theoretical trade, we know we would be giving a team an ace pitcher and a top of the line leadoff hitter.

Shouldn’t that net 2 or 3 top 100 prospects? I think so.

I know choos contract is bad, but minors is a good deal.

Front office needs to approach it like “blow us away, or we’re not trading them”

Two top 100 prospects for Minor should be attainable. To me it matters where the best one is in the top 100.

Choo is a different matter altogether. We have guys in our system not in the top 100 that I would be thrilled to get a player just like them for Choo. Some rankers don't have Crouse in the top 100. Sam Huff is not in the top 100. We have lots of other good minor leaguers who aren't ranked in the top 100 as well.

Now his HR is the game winner if Chapman finishes this. Does the low market team player get the MVP? Pissed if he doesn’t.

Sell them all but Joey. That’s my line.

Why do you ask? Is Elvis bunting? LOL
Keeping the pitcher in for a complete inning no matter how many guys get on base.

Another great outing for John King for Down East, and another not so good outing for Jonathan Hernandez for Frisco.
