We're talking 65,000 in like six weeks though. Not an entire calendar year. Not to mention that isn't accounting for the actual flu
Might be wrong, but thinking the 65K wouldn't be reached until 6-8 weeks. Point is taken, though....however, I wonder if most deaths for the seasonal flu occur during flu season (not sure when that is but would think maybe Nov - apr?

Yup!!

Just had lunch with my Family.

The Hotel I'm in has this huge outdoor patio that they use for parties, weddings etc...

And, they let guests reserve it for 4 hour blocks to spend time with their family, while continuing to social distance.

I could go home and just stay in the basement. But, after being away this long, it would be stupid to even risk it.
Congrats, Mecca.

yeah...cannot recall a star leaving his current team after his rookie deal under the current CBA. I guess he could sign a 1 year deal (that would be matched) and go after that season. don't think anyone has though.

Yes.

it is possible to take the 1 year qualifying offer and reach FA after 5 years. But he would have to leave a lot of money on the table to that. And until a star player actually makes that choice I will continue to say that it is extremely unlikely to play out that way.

I am absolutely shocked that 7 out of 8 players in this HORSE game are shooting outdoors

Lol I'm all for good numbers but Sundays have been low and it's Easter

Now if on Tuesday/Wednesday it's 1400 we are headed in the right direction

Yep and still a ridiculous amount of people dying. Still frustrating because this number of deaths could have been prevented had people listen to the experts back in February. Really nothing to celebrate but the last few days been a step in the right direction but we won't have any "good days" until next month probably

We'at over 22K deaths

I'll take it
Exactly. If that's the way they have to do it, it's better than no season.

Obviously the history books will show this year to be a very weird exception. It's just a game, let's play.
