Rip Hamilton for Stackhouse

And that doesn’t even begin to cover all the bad draft pick for veteran deals they have made. There is an extensive history of dealing young promising studs in win now moves when they were at best a low end playoff team.

He and Howard were falsely accused of r*pe. They kinda had a falling out because of it.

Add in the fact that Calbert Chaney was the original Andrew Wiggins, Webber's shoulder kept slipping out of socket and they weren't to far passed that whole Juwan to the Heat, Stern voiding the deal to get him back to the Bullets debacle...

...and they probably needed to blow it up.

Sadly, they did an absolute SHIT job of it.

Kinda like the Celtics trade setting the Nets back, without all the picks, but still damaging to their future.

Oh, I forgot to comment on the Rip/Stackhouse trade.

That one turned out to be a bad move. But, I wasn't surprised they did it.

Stackhouse was the guy they were praying for from that draft class.

They only took Rasheed because he was the best available and Stack was off the board.

CWebb, Howard, Sheed all played the same position and the NBA was nowhere near positionless basketball back then.

Building around Webber would have been the way to go if he wasn't missing 60 games.

But, Howard was their guy. They drafted him and thought he'd be much better than he was.
