Kevin Hayes is definitely locked, loaded and ready to go. His size, speed, puck possession and shot are definitely a problem for the Islanders. Also, the game seems to slow down whenever he has the puck. I feel the same way about Couturier, but he is not getting the puck as often, shooting as much and therefore not getting the bounces. All three of their goals in the 1st period of the last game were a thing of beauty. I'd say they are both still due a few goals each. Coots has missed several opportunities right in front of the net that he would normally bury.

So hopefully these douchebags sack up tomorrow and play, if they keep martyring a rapist I think I would have to have serious thoughts as to if I wanted to support that type of organization. These idiots think their sending a message of unity when all I've been reading is a lot of pissed off fans lol. A few feel good snowflakes but I would say 85% of the fans are not digging this. Based on the NHL statement last night, the plan is to play games tomorrow. The insiders say they'll probably play 3 games on both days, so one series in each conference will play a back to back, Saturday and Sunday. Since the PHI/NYI and VGK/VAN each only have 2 gp so far and the others have 3, I would imagine those would be the series that play back to back.

No word on the schedule of the games yet though. But the simple solution would be to have the PHI/NYI game at 12pm tomorrow and the VGK/VAN game at 8pm since they were already scheduled. Maybe you slide BOS/TB up to Saturday for the 4pm time slot and give PHI/NYI the 8pm slot they were previously scheduled for on Sunday. Then BOS/TB inherits the PHI/NYI slot on Monday.

Then out west you have the VGK/VAN game at 8pm tomorrow, leave DAL/COL off the schedule, and have both sets of game on Sunday. To make that work better, maybe you give the Flyers a 4pm start on Sunday so the west can have 8pm and 1030pm.

So for the Flyers, I'm guessing..

Sunday at 4pm
Tuesday at 7pm

For the next 3 games. That would leave them just 1 day behind the original schedule by Wednesday morning.

Agree! It’s something they’ve been able to hang their hat on all season that’s why it’s so odd that they’ve been outplayed in those periods. The key is to play the same kind of winning two way hockey they came with in the first period of Game 2.

As somebody in here pointed out the other day, the way AV answered the Laughton question it sounds like he may be hurt. But also I don’t think you can take Farabee out right now. The only place to plug Laughton is with TK and Hayes in my opinion. He doesn’t seem to work with other pairings.

We’ve seen Laughton Grant NAK. Meh in terms of Laughton’s play and that’s being kind. Ideally, he gets healthy and goes back with Hayes and TK, Farabee up to skate with Couts and Jake. Then G moves back to Center of NAK and JVR with an eye on Lindblom’s return so we skate Oskar G NAK. That line could Fucking hum. Then you get Thompson out of the lineup with Grant centering Rafl and Pitlick.

Lindblom is not coming back this season so if your waiting on him i wouldnt hold my breath. Laughton was hurt when he wasnt showing much with that line and even hurt he makes that line better than if JVR was on it.
