There are a few back to backs in this series lots of games in a short period of time. Not good for a goalie like varly. Hart can handle it worst case Elliott' is good for one game or so if needed.
Also Elliott is every bit as good as Varley IMO so it's def our advantage, Elliott as a back up is a pretty good safety net.

Not sure how accurate this is.... BUT it shows Nisky with Braun....

Team Line Combinations - Daily Faceoff

This is where they landed forward wise for the last two against Montreal. Defense, I don't think it'll look like that. I expect with Niskanen back they'll go back to:

Provorov-Niskanen
Sanheim-Myers
Hagg-Braun

Ghost looked very good IMO, in game 6. But I think the balance is off if he checks in for anyone other than Hagg. And Ghost-Braun is horrible. Maybe he checks in for Braun, but I don't see them doing a Ghost/Braun swap because of the PK situation.

Up front, AV is a blender. He's barely used the same lines twice since bubble play started. If I were him, I'd go back to the Giroux-Couturier-Voracek line to match up with Lee-Barzal-Eberle line. And I'd go back to Laughton-Hayes-Konecny to match up with Beauvillier-Nelson-Bailey. I think in both cases the Flyers would have 2 very responsible defensively guys, and a 3rd that's no slouch. Plus those lines have enough talent to get some goals if they can push play.

I think I'd do that for the 'home' games with last change. And then split G off as the 3C for the 'away' games to force Trotz to match up with Couturier-Hayes-Giroux down the middle.

Is Nate Thompson really helping this team at all. Surely we could do better in that spot?

Maybe they thought it was another 8pm start. Let’s get this kill and build some momentum with the forecheck. Looks like only Farabee Hayes TK can get anything going with the forecheck. AV needs to draw up a good one here and get some adjustments rolling.

Gotta say though... If that 1st period was the best the Piles can play I am not overly impressed or worried.
