Is it just me or is Charlie Coyle saving Bostons season all by his self? Dude is on fire.

I think hes had a little help and not to mention Rask has been very good.
Wonder what he would cost? Ghost and a pick?Three Defensemen The Flyers Should Try To Add This Offseason
Spurgeon is a new name thrown into the mix
Im not sure id have to look into his play. Im not really familiar with him. If it would cost us Ghost and a pick that means he is pretty good.Wonder what he would cost? Ghost and a pick?
I looked at his stats and on the surface it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade over Ghost. The only thing is he shoots righty.Wonder what he would cost? Ghost and a pick?
I think he is a better defender.I looked at his stats and on the surface it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade over Ghost. The only thing is he shoots righty.
I wouldn't do a Ghost plus a pick for him
Damn it's looking like another team from Boston will win another championship. Must be nice. Last year they had the Red Sox. This year the Pats and now I don't see anyone beating the Bruins. At least the Celtics went down. I would love for Philly at some point to achieve this. It's pretty difficult to do.
Ha Chy this is a given anyone is a better defender that Ghost.I think he is a better defender.
This doesn't surprise me as i have Boston and St Louis cup final and i have already won my pool.Damn it's looking like another team from Boston will win another championship. Must be nice. I agree 100%I would add Provorov to the list. IMO, he's a guy you have to just take the leap of faith with. He's shown he can be a #1 dman in the league, he's 22, and he's an RFA this summer. You should have the ability to lock him down for 5+ years on a reasonable cap hit, and reap the benefits for years. It won't be quite as nice as Nashville getting a #1 dman (Josi) for 4M for the past 6 years (plus next year), but you have to take the gamble that a big contract now gets a #1 dman on a steal of a contract. I'd make the same bet on Sanheim this summer or Myers next summer as well. Then you have 2-3 good/great defensemen locked up on reasonable deals.
Perhaps a better comparable is Carolina. They took the leap of faith with Slavin in 2017, signed him to a big extension, but in year 1 of his contract he already looks like a massive steal at 5.3M. Took the same gamble and got Pesce on a steal at 4M. And they learned this way back in 2014 when they signed Faulk to a big deal, who's now also a good deal at 4.8M.
