First 5-10 games of the season I defended him because he was creating lots of chances. I figured they'd go in eventually. I'd be surprised if he has 5 chances in the last 20 games. He's a complete non-factor out there these days.

Well when Lindblom comes back either Stewart Kase or vorobyev goes so you have a 33% chance .

Has the JVR contract left us more handcuffed than I thought? If Patrick doesn't play anymore, do we have room to bring in a good player? Seems we would fall short on being in the running when going after good FA's? Sux JVR is not willing to pay his dues and become a complete player.

"Player" is a reach when talking about JVR. Had you said hes not that bad of a goal scorer i would tend to agree.

The hard work you speak of is actually playing a 200 foot game in this system where as his game is basically a 15 foot game that only resides as a man to stand in front of the net an reap the four other line mates hard work to get the puck to the net. He has never been an all star for a reason.
