Well its early lets see where we go from here. Its not all bad it could be worse.
I agree 100% I may be critical as hell but I still want wins and a good season. I do however want a more balanced team still lol.

Thanks!

It looks like our PP1 is way down in goals the last 2 seasons.

Hmmm wonder what change has happened on our PP1 last season and this season that has gotten us to have lower PPG than in seasons past?
I noticed the same thing PP2 should become PP1 for a while see what happens. Maybe take the pressure off of them and get them going worth a try...

Not that it will ever happen again, but does anyone have any thoughts on pulling the goalie if you get a power play in overtime?

i would do this without hesitation. i'd pull goalie in other situations as well - like after an opposition icing after prolonged possession. i have been told i'm nuts

If you are on a PP and pull the goalie the opposition gets a free shot at an empty net from anywhere on the ice as icing would be null and void.

Some serious growing pains for Sanheim. I think that's three games in a row that he's simply fallen to the ice by himself in the defensive zone and it has directly led to a goal against. He made up for it Saturday by scoring one of his own, but then also appeared to tip one off the post and into his own net.

Coach the kid up, give him confidence and continue to ride with him. There's not much else we can do.

If it helps us be a better team i am all for that. If PP2 can keep their current pace that would allow us an extra 1 goal per game which as you know is a huge difference maker.

Even with a bad shoulder he is one of our best players night in and out. It would be nice to have more help for his line who is playing great.
Yep if their the only ones scoring consistently were in trouble.

So, I gotta say, after hearing you say it year in and year out....And seeing it again this year already, I have to agree with what you've said many times in the past.... it's time to blow up the core of this team.
These young guys step in and just go go go, yet the vets drag ass till maybe December and then decide to play. It's friggin killing us....maybe the front office should pay them for only the half the season they decide to play!?!

I have to say i like your idea of half pay for half a season. If that happens maybe they would start playing from the get go. If we want to be a legit threat we cant have Gee and Jake as two of our top players. We3 also cant have our top line LW not getting a point in 10 of 13 games but it has been that way his whole career i dont know why anyone would expect any different but on this board he gets defended to death.
