This team is embarrassing in the field. I thought last season was improvement. Instead, it was a case of over achievement.
I agree with Nos. Mauer wont hit 27 more homers in his career. At 6'5 - 220 - should be hammering the ball, not slapping it. But that horse has been beaten so hard its now dead. Pointless to fret it over it 8 years later.
You think the next 100 games will bring a reprieve? I dont know what you base that on, other than a blind loyalty to wishing it would happen. No, this team is in trouble. You can feel it. Its about to blow, I think.

Worst part? I bought in to the "improvement" theory. And with what we signed in the off season, I believed this year would be a solid one. I dont usually get taken in like that.
