I got 2 nominations from Penguin fans and I’m a Capitals fan. I must be still drunk from last night.
I got you man!
Any chance against Vegas?
I feel like Vegas is the better team, but also that the Caps have had so many years of playoff misery that it is their destiny to win it this year. We shall see.
Yea - I remember that but couldn't find it written anywhere. .... be tough for him to maintain a place - especially since he was up due to rule violations. ....well unless he had a change of heart, @The Foot bowed out of MBBRL main leagues towards end of last year, so its a moot point
I'm in.
Not sure about Ritzy since he moved to Texas...
1) No you don’t got me you got Chef if he wants it. Hope you both get food poisoning from his restaurant.
2) Last few years Caps kept losing to Penguins and Fluery there goalie. Well who did Vegas get during expansion draft for their goalie.
3) Caps might have a let down because they finally got to the big stage and they are exhausted. They are a physical team and have hit a lot of players and blocked a lot of shots to their body. The key is can they do it again for another tough series.
4) People forget Vegas isn’t just scrub players but legit players not like replacements filling in. I feel Golden Knights will win in 5 games.
5) I would be happy to join your league
Vegas in 5? I respect the realism factor, but I think this series goes at least to 6 games no matter who wins. I have also seen a different Caps team this year in the playoffs. I think they are well past the memories of years past and have shown great resiliency at different points of this journey. I'm not going to guarantee anything, but I lean towards us hoisting the cup finally.
I'm torn.1) No you don’t got me you got Chef if he wants it. Hope you both get food poisoning from his restaurant.

Petr Bondra was one of my favorite players. Liked the old dark blue Eagle-crested sweaters too.
For Bondra, I hope the Irish-Russian (O'Vechkin) wins a Cup.
But kind of hard not to like the Knights.
Basically unprotected (unwanted) players all coming together and gelling into a Cup contender.
That's Hollywood!
Heard that if Vegas wins, the bookies in Vegas lose mucho $$$$.
Would love for that to happen too.
Would not be disappointed if either team wins it all.
It's a good point.we should revisit the being active on the boards part as well IMHO
Maybe tell him to play defenseMy heart wants Caps to win but my tiny brain would bet on Knights winning. Love for Ovi to be holding the trophy. Did you see him after game 7 of Tamba game? He was like a kid seeing his first playboy. His excitement, enthusiasm is what draws people to him and I wish the Cup for him.
I feel like there’s some that just set their rostersIt's a good point.
And I don't want to editorialize (but I will).
Some owners have given advanced warning that their posts might dwindle due to obligations outside of this message board. I think most of us understand and are willing to bend the rules in those cases.
The other scenario which may contribute to low-posting is the fact that most of us are all in leagues AGAINST each other. This could be creating an unintentional situation where an owner may hold off asking for an opinion to the board because it either "tips his hand" or would draw undue attention to a player that he wanted to keep under the radar.
I know that I've held back at times raising a question on this forum (or responding) to certain threads for these reasons. Some may argue that it's easy to say that we all have our own view on a player and that no other opinion here would sway our stubbornness or confidence in a player. While this is true, sometimes opinions change. I can see how this may be a slippery slope for some.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the constitutional rule of posting has been somewhat diluted (and/or convoluted) by the fact that the very ones who share their opinion are also the competition. "Frenemies" if you will.
As always, I'm curious as to how the board feels as well. Maybe I'm off base? But this is my viewpoint and I'm as active as anyone and seldom veer off this forum.
