I have yet to see why he was the pick and not Justin Reid, Josh Jackson or Carlton Davis. I am officially, completely baffled by this pick. Seattle handed you one of the best safeties in the draft on a silver fucking platter and you take a guy that was graded as a 3rd-4th round projection. The guy Edmunds is compared to from the NFL is DeShawn Snead. If you need a reminder of who he is, don't worry, I'm sure everyone does.

DeShawn Snead was undrafted in 2012, and in his 7 years of play, he's got an outstanding 154 tackles, an astonishing 1 sack and a whopping 2 INTs. He suffered an ACL tear in 2016 and only played in 2 games last year. This is the guy our first round draft pick is compared to.

Well its cool they upgraded their 3rd Rd pick. But the debate will rage on whether this was a good move. Keeping a dynamic WR like Bryant while the team is in win-now mode made the most sense. Even if he was going to be gone after 2018. I'm hopeful they take a talented WR in the next few picks. Or else they downgraded their offense this year which would be a head-scrather.

Not that I wanted to get rid of MB, but now that it's done, I'm all in on the trade.

This was in the works long before last night (hint resigning a little used Justin Hunter). They just finally got the return they were looking for.

I would feel the same way as you if I thought MB was a true difference maker...don't get me wrong, he's a good player and on this team with Bell and AB he's going to be singled a lot and they made pretty good use of him. imo They also made Juju more of a factor than he might've been otherwise.

He did STFU after his meeting with MT, so I'm not going to say he was a total distraction, but I do think his production can be duplicated. Will it be? On some level I think yes.

You've been higher on CB than most on this board for certain so I understand your Jackson And Davis references but I never expected a CB @ 28.

I'm with you on Justin Reid, but clearly they saw something in Edmunds they like better.

Snead...not sure who is making the comparisons, but unless they have a crystal ball, I can't put too much stock in it. Just hope this kid doesn't suffer the same injury fate.

I saw that. It was brutal.

It's like comparing someone to Alonzo Jackson. You hate that kid THAT much?

Did someone tweet Bryant and tell him, 'i guess you were wrong, Juju IS your replacement!!!'

I just think the animosity he was bringing with juju and the big spat about he wanted out was his big downfall.

Not overly in love with this pick but I think there's also a chance for high upside here. Fits the bill as a playmaker this team needs, especially without Shazier. Would've preferred Reid but then again that Shazier pick was also so who knows.

Maybe I'm being too short-sighted, but given the way he finished 2017 and probably motivated to get a big deal as a free agent I thought he was due for a big 2018. Or at least would contribute more this year than the 3rd. It's a good value for him, and probably was being a headache again.

But man this WR depth is sore right now. Rogers will probably be back but two WRs wouldn't surprise me.

So we got 60, 79 and 92 tonight. Hoping we get some decent talent here. Do we take a QB today? Mason Rudolph is still there. What about RB? Will Guice or Chubb be there at 60? WR is a high probability and we got James Washington still out there. Not seeing a lot of LB talent in the 2nd round but I'm sure we will find someone.

Since they didn't take Reid in the 1st which was confusing now I am wondering what is wrong with him so that he is still on the board?

I don't think they'll go QB in the first regardless of who is there, and I actually doubt they'll draft a QB at all. They're not going to carry 4 QBs on the roster, and probably are still wanting to see what they have with Dobbs, so he won't get cut. For whatever reason that eludes all of us, they seen to love dirty Landry, so he won't get cut... That leaves no roster spot for another QB.

I am clearly clueless and should be completely ignored. Feel free to throw rocks at me and shit.

That said, who do they drop? Try to stash Dobbs on the practice squad?

I don’t hate it like I thought I would. Weird.

Rudolph to Washington isn’t exactly Ben to AB but...

With Rudolph at least we know they upgraded their backup QB position, even though that didn't take much.
