That match was something else. I watched it and still can't believe what a turnaround Del Portro made. He looked completely down and out early.

I feel bad for Thiem. Heartbreaking losses at Wimbledon and now US Open in the round of 16

Querry seems to be finally putting it together. Better late than never. Would love to see him get it done.

Querrey seems to be new new Wawrinka. Or close to it.

Making the leap at 29.

What a win for Keys. 4 American Women in the QF of the US Open

This is the first time in a long time that I can remember that the US Open is actually a "US" Open.

Also, I normally don't like the first week of the USO, not enough good matches.

This has been one of the better first weeks. Something good during every day during the first week.

And surprisingly, it was a few of the matches on Ashe too. Usually those matches are over in 88 minutes or less.

Yeah damn good week. Day session pushed back the night session quite a few times in week 1

He looked to break into the top tier of players before he had the arm injury. It almost ended his career.

Fed vs DelPo? Who wins? On paper it's Fed because he might be the fresher.

Del Potro still has his million dollar forehand, but not a million dollar backhand anymore.

I also gave up on him 1 or 2 years ago.

For a while, I thought it would be cool if he could come back and really contend again.

But not anymore.

Man, watching this Williams/Kvitova match is like watching the same player going against themselves. Mens bracket is bland as oatmeal but the womens is sime great tennis.

6 set points blown by Sam in this breakers. No way he comes back from this if he doesn't win this 2nd set.

Venus fought hard in that match. Gotta give it to Kvitova though and happy to see her back out there. Both played great tennis.

It is great seeing all the American women coming up strong. Odds are in our favor right now.

Yeah not mad about it. He didn't play terrible. Anytime him and Anderson go at it, the winner likely will come from who can win the most TB. Last night Anderson won 2 of the 3 TB sets. That was the difference in the match. I know Querrey is kicking himself for that 1st set tiebreak. He had the 1st set on his serve. Didn't seal the deal

I hope Coco and Madison win today. I'm not sure there has ever been an all American Semi in a major.

It happened in 1985. Martina Navritolova, the eventual champion, the runner-up Chris Evert, Kathy Rinaldi and Zina Garrison.

Nadal vs Rublev predictions? I will take Nadal in straight sets. Fed vs DelPo I like Fed in four.
