I highly doubt any team would.I started wondering who would trade for Morris.

Baltimore might.I highly doubt any team would.
Probably not, especially since it looks like he may get released if no Elliott suspension and maybe even if there is. But All depends on what happens with injuries and the such. Salary is only $1.2M so not restrictive. Seems he si worth a 7th rounder IMO. I like the guy and thought he looked good on the series I saw the other night. Plus he sounds like a great guy so I hope for the best for him. But when I think about last year he looked great in the preseason and then seemed to lose it a little in the real games. Maybe he needed more use or maybe he isn't as good as I thought when we signed him but I think he can still contribute for a Football Team and spot start if need be.I highly doubt any team would.
Any interest?
Cowboys said they are interested "at the right price". Unfortunately, I'm sure there are teams that will give Haden "the wrong price"Any interest?
Yup, with a vet corner with potential to be very good someone will normally bid up the priceCowboys said they are interested "at the right price". Unfortunately, I'm sure there are teams that will give Haden "the wrong price"
Snooze you lose. Damn. He's a Steeler.
We should know in about a month or so if this was a mistake for this year (long term we need to wait at least a year). We brought in a lot of new DBs and our scouts have been great the last few years so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say I am totally fine with letting him go both short term and long term. Wasn't it like $9M per year? One thing I am excited about for this years team is watching the new DBs. Yeah, they are going to have growing pains, but all we need is a couple to be keepers and it will change the makeup of our entire team.Snooze you lose. Damn.
Yea just wish we could have kicked the tires on him. It is just a shame that the young guys did not get to play alot in preseason. Week one is going to be tough, but we should be ok in the long run.We should know in about a month or so if this was a mistake for this year (long term we need to wait at least a year). Agree. Our annual hamstring problem bit us in the ass again. Are Awuzie, Lewis (when healthy) and Woods ready to contribute in real games? unfortunately we won't know for sure until we throw them out there and see what happens. I tend to think a few weeks of practice against our offense will get them ready, but will they know what to do when the opponent stacks trips on them or when a back or TE unexpectedly goes deep with 4 other receivers also in patterns, etc??? I for one can't wait to find out. As long as we get a few good plays to offset the growing pains I'll be happy. Starting to get psyched to watch some real FootballYea just wish we could have kicked the tires on him. It is just a shame that the young guys did not get to play alot in preseason. Lewis when healthy is going to be a stud for us. I have more concern with byron Jones and his inability to cause turnovers. Jones looks lost half the time. People say how great he is in coverage and he was defending the Packers TE on that sideline pass that ended our season.Agree. Our annual hamstring problem bit us in the ass again. I am not high on Jones so far, and he needs to do a better job himself. I know he has not been surrounded by all pros, but time for him to step up.It wasn't man coverage with Jones on Cook. Want to see Cook embarrass someone deep, then look at where he burns Lee early in the game for TD and Lee's our best player on D.
The Cowboys set up way too deep on that play like they expected Rodgers to go for the end zone or something. Why doesn't Jones have deep help with Cook with all those bodies behind him? Maybe he was supposed to.

Regardless if Jones is the weak link in our defense we likely will be the best defense in the league. Guy has been out there with guys that aren't that great since he has been here. He isn't perfect, but he's pretty darned good. My main complaint with him has been in the rd zone. He has given up a lot of TDs. Usually good coverage, but he still needs to make a few more plays. Also we change up our defenses but we play a lot of cover one and because no one else could cover TEs he yields that "centerfielder" type role to guys like Church and Wilcox and Heath. Get the guy some help and you'll see a much better player
