I think our chances of landing Sarell improved with Stanford landing that commit from the 5-star OT out of Texas. Both are LT prospects. I know Stanford likes their O and D line beef, and can land a lot of it, but this could end up helping us with Fosters commit.

As for Jackson, we could still be in the mix as well. USC already has 3 Oline commits for the class so it's getting a bit crowded there.

I think it could be a likely scenario of Sarell to Washington and Jackson to USC come LOI. But both to Washington would be sweet too.

On the Dawgman show tonight on KJR, they stated that a 5 star who is committed to another school will be visiting in Janurary.

There has been rumblings about this mystery visitor for a few weeks now. Huskies are being tight lipped on the identity. Could either be a rumor run amuck, or we could be in for a very interesting close for LOI.

listening to the show, it sounded like they talked to the kid who wished that the info not go out yet.

I guess we will find out soon enough.

Well there are only about 30-40 5star recruits this year depending on which site their ranked.

If the criteria is already committed and west coast based, that brings the list down to just a couple. But if its a east coast as well, it gets harder to guess.

Either way, very interesting to see who it ends up being and if they get the visit.

If they are using Scout, I want to say Scout has 25 5 star recruits. I wouldn't even know what to think if it expanded to east coast kids, but I'm guessing its west coast.

If the criteria is true, than I have an idea of who it is. But we'll have to see come Jan if the visit happens.

All-American game activities cranking up. Some west coast big names will be committing this week. We find out on Saturday where Foster is going.

New Offer out to 3 star OT Cole Norgaard

He's pretty much decommited from his other choice, Nevada, so appears he's jumping at the offer the once he visits on Jan 13th. Coach Strausser must like his potential. He's got nice size at 6'5" and 270 already. But still, like Nick Harris, is one of those diamond in rough 2-3 star types that will need to put in serious work to be a serviceable PAC lineman that could contribute.

I'm a bit concerned about Oline recruiting. We have to do better to be able to deal with the trenches if were going to Rose bowls and playoff slots. Its been a sore spot with this team dating back awhile now.

Welp, the time is finally here. Does Sarell pick UW, Stanford, or a wildcard no one else is predicting? Lot of rumbling he's going Stanford and look out if he does.
