Saw Sarell on the news last night, holy hell big boy.
Like the way he represents himself as well, humble, that would be a huge get if they keep him in state!

Yeah, I watched that bit on him on King5 as well. He does have that feel of a Petersen OKG, but every major program in the country is after him.

Sumner is the game of the week for King5 as well so look tonight at 11 for the highlights of Connor Wedington in their game against Bellarmine prep. Sumner looks to extend their unbeaten record against the 5-1 Lions. Should be calm weather for it unlike that game you are going to tomorrow.

UW commit Connor Weddington just got moved from 3* status to 4* on Rivals, Scout and 247.

Also UW asst. coaches have been busy hitting the recruiting trail during this bye week.

Bush Hamdan has been busy these past two days. A 4* in the Bay Area, a 5* in the LA area, and another 4* in Utah.

Elijah Molden explains why he ditched Oregon Ducks for Washington Huskies

One of our latest commits talks about the process and picking UW.

Love the comments at the bottom, in particular this gem:
It sucks cause Oregon the last 20 years has been better then Washington every single year minus this year but it's Moldens loss/es in the long run. Once Oregon gets a coach that can well coach Oregon will be back to being Oregon and pounding the Huskies on a yearly basis. Oregon still has probably 3-4 times the talent that Washington has right now and just watch out when the talent that Oregon has has coaches that can teach how to tackle, block, etc Oregon will be back to the top of the Pac 12.
:pound:
Man do I love delusional duck fans.

I forgot that Sarell has an official visit to Bama for the Iron Bowl in a week and a half. He's not likely to announce before that visit. Not sure if he's seriously adding bama as a consideration, or just getting a free trip to see one of the great SEC rivalry games.

It would be a nice catch to keep him in state, but if he wants to play else where that is fine,
"OKG" motto is starting to show and if he can't fit in then the best of luck to him

He's the prototypical Petersen player though. He's very smart, very humble, and always team first. He has everything our staff looks for. And I mean everything.

I'm leaning 60% he ends up at either Stanford or Bama, 35% chance he ends up at UW, and 5% it's someone else. He's special enough to make a huge difference in this class though and is worth paying attention to.

‘Do what you do’ turned UW commit Connor Wedington into Sumner football legend
Sumner's Connor Wedington earns TNT All-Area player of the year
Really nice article on Wedington. Named the Tacome News Tribune's player of the year. The video in the second link should really get you pumped up. I watched this kid play all year and just can't wait to see him in the UW backfield. I'm sure they will red shirt him so we won't see him until '18.

So sad that his shoulder injury will keep him out of this next playoff game on Saturday against Camas. He worked so hard to get his team to the state championships only to have to sit by and watch when the team is on that doorstep to reaching his dream.

I guess he will have to settle for helping UW reach the finals.

I know 2017 is great, but 2018 is going to be nuts on the recruiting scene.

2018= It's going to be a huge class. 22-24 commits. Makings off a monster and could end up in the top10 with the cred they've achieved.
