Why doesn't Timmeh try that????Now this is real interesting. Brian Wilson is trying to come back as a knuckleball starting pitcher

There will be no difference in speed between his fastball and his knuckler......

Too bad. I think he has potential to be at least a shuttle player, but with the Giants, he is AAAA at best.Ryan Lollis also re-signed with the Giants.
My guess is that the Giants were interested all off season but wanted to give him a chance to sign with another organization. Now, with spring training starting, and no one else signing him, he came back to the Giants. Totally guessing here.Too bad. I would think he could find a better fit with a lower-tier team.
I seldom wish I were wrong, but Herk is one of those situations...So, Herk is hurt. This is ominous. My guess: we don't get more than 80 games out of him this year. Mac, Parker, Slater, Duggar....get ready.

Between Herk and Span, that will be at 120 at least. And that doesn't even count left field or backups.Fortunately he swung the bat today and was by all accounts feeling great and yada yada.... but yeah given his history this is not a great start.
Wouldn't be surprised if games missed in the entire OF combines to more than 100.
He has been an absolute pinball since the trade. I actually thought he was out of baseball.Royals just released Jonathan Sanchez. Apparently, he was awful in spring training.
I do believe he was out of baseball and the Royals agreed to give him a try. Too bad for him it didn't work out. I found it interesting it was the Royals, considering how he did for them the previous time they brought him into their organization. He has been an absolute pinball since the trade. Too bad. Kid had a hell of arm. He just thought the game owed him something and that meant automatic failure.
Barry Bonds just signed with the Giants as a special advisor
