Foreman has too many fumbles. We already have a turnover risk with AA, don't want to double down on that.

True. Hopefully it does not come down to him being the last one left. He is defintely choice 3 out of those guys. If it is something that is easily correctable it might be worth taking him if he slides and use him just as short yardage guy as that wont be many touches.

Pick 79 I took Kareem Hunt. The trade back was a bad call. The run on DB's taken after that trade left the cupboard pretty bare, and I think I could have taken Hunt at 85. Should have just stayed and taken Williams in the second and been done with it.

Shit happens. Draft flow can be a bitch sometimes. I still like trading back, but not in the middle rounds.

Pick 85 and 86 are Justin Evans and Adam Shaheen.

Shaheen is a gamble that could pay off. I would probably have waited. Evans is OK.

I think Shaheen will be off the board before the Lions second pick. I think I got him a full round late for this. However it is not a need, I thought about Duwane Smoot or Rasul Douglas. I felt both are projects with enough potential to eventually start

That is the buzz. And there is a lot of it. Right after the top 3 is what some are saying. I would not take the chance with an early round pick on a big kid that played against midgets. He is used to playing without fear. That may change when he starts getting hit by NFL caliber players. Maybe in the 4th round and certainly in the 5th it would be worth it.

Alabama LB Reuben Foster visited the Lions Friday.

The owners of the No. 21 overall pick, the Lions would seem to have little shot at one of the top talents in the draft, but Foster's medical concerns (shoulder) and trouble at the Combine could cause him to slip. Lions GM Bob Quinn recently said the team needs to get faster on defense, and an athletic linebacker like Foster would be a great place to start. Temple's Haason Reddick is another name to watch for Detroit.

Walter Footballs latest consensus mock has us taking Reddick and M Adams in the first 2 rounds.

That was my picks a few weeks ago. I would still be OK with that even though I have changed back and forth. Glad to see they are finally catching up.

I'm still not sure about Reddick.

Dude gives me that Aaron Curry vibe.

There is some risk there. We will need a LB, DB, DL in the first 3 or 4 rounds. A LB in the first 2 rds really. I am hoping we trade back with GB. The whole world knows they have a boner for Watt. We could easily get an extra round 3 pick out of this.

We might not get Reddick, Heck he might be gone before our pick anyway. We could easily end up with Davis later in the first or Mitchell as there is a chance Mitchell may be there at 53 anyway and we could take a DB or DE in late round 1. Raiders are also a potential trade partner. They are looking at the same guys we are in the first couple rounds.

Only way Obi lasts that long is if he gets mowed down by an ISIS truck as he's walking into the draft.

Pick 127 I used on Brendan Langley, high potential CB, but I doubt he is productive for a few years.

We might really benefit from the QB class in this draft. Not a lot of top 10 types, more so 4-5 guys who might start flying off the board in the 12-25 range.
