Wow. Big pickup. Receiver corps is just going to be stacked with young talent. Patrick O'Brien has got to be excited.

The best recruiters on Nebraska have two for 2017 now.

Williams and Bray.

This is why they both should get another raise and pass Read in the college pay scale.

I am beginning to change my mind on this Riley hire.

Convince me with going 9-3 or better next year and a defense that is ranked in the top 40. I think I picked Nebraska to go 7-5 in 2016 somewhere on the hoop. I get a margin of error of 1 win, so the coaches need to win 9 or more games. Then you all can gloat over me for being a whiner on the Riley hire.

If KJJ and Holmes commit, WOW. Either of these QBs, Gebbia or Coan look good to me. I would probably go with Coan because of his heighth, but Drew Brees is a damn good QB and is 5' 11".

Rumors swirling that KJJ is N but won't announce it because he committed to releasing a Bleacher Report video. Nebraska continues to make moves with Darnay as well

If some of what I've been heard is true, he's been N for a long time. He's recorded the video already but BR probably wants time to get it promoted, not just throw it out there all of a sudden. It's all about site hits.

KJJ is N for sure. It couldn't be more blatantly obvious.

POB is taking serious flak from the media for how weak his arm is.

Gebbia has a cannon.

Link? Three days in is kinda early for a true frosh to be getting serious flack about anything.

Damon Benning doesn't like him, said he threw very poorly (an ugly ball as well no tight spiral) his first day and had no juice on it. I couldn't tell you where that is in the USC podcasts.. Sam McKewon thinks he's never going to develop good enough arm strength to make all the throws and made a poor comparison to Zac Taylor.

I dunno about you, but I remember Zac being able to absolutely rip it. That ball came out fast with a lot of velocity so I don't get that analysis.

He tweeted that one out on saturday, so no article as far as I know.

Former player syndrome. I.e. do it like we did. Taylor had the best arm last 16 years.

Love Damon as a radio guy, but he sucks at recognizing high school talent. He talked about Noah Fant like he was the greatest player ever in Nebraska.

Also I believe he is 0-26 as a football coach

everyone else in media has talked about how good POB has looked, noting that he is a freshman and will need time

I can't speak for what DB is talking about but from what i've heard is that O'Brien has been very accurate in practices but also seems to be playing a bit to not make mistakes. Guiding the ball in instead of ripping it. His arm strength has always been a subject of interest. He can throw it 4 yards on a dime but it's his velocity on timing routes that has yet to develop very well. He needs a redshirt year whether people want to admit it or not.

I don't have a problem with that. This is Tommy's year, and if he goes out this offense is gonna need a game manager who knows the playbook. So probably Ryker.

That's not what he said. He was talking about one drill in particular that POB struggled with. DB got all defensive on RSS later on and explained that he still liked him and thought he was going to be good, but he was just commenting on one (particularly difficult) drill at his first ever college practice. He had Sipple egging him on, so maybe he took it a little further than he intended.

Eh. My memory is sketchy. Same difference. I just remember his tone when talking about him was one of borderline disgust LOL
