Also, Bama's WR coach isn't exactly a world-beater. He was QB coach at CSU under McElwain. Williams is a stud technician. KJSr knows that.

KJJ is not going to Bama... his dad can't stand Kiffin. But it still feels good to have the defending national champs looking at you. This is actually a good thing for Nebraska IMO. Gebbia and Johnson are as N as it gets and the more exposure they get the more big names will look at us. It would be one of the most stunning events in recent recruiting history of KJJ went to Bama.

All I know is if he goes to Alabama you'll barely hear his name again.

He'll catch a pass every now and again.

He's a good/great possession receiver. His dad was an elite possession receiver.

He's got his dad's hands, but physically he's not the same dude. He'd have a lot of growing to do.

Agreed. I can't see him flipping with his dad's loyalty to Riley and how hard KJJ has been recruiting for Huskers. Just don't see him as that type of player

Anyone think we end up offering Martell? If not, would it be because we simply don't have room, or would it be a fear of losing Gebbia/creating tension.

Don't think we even really want him...not our style, don't need him, and he kind of seems like a diva. Also have heard his dad is pretty involved. Not worth the risk of making our quality QB commit mad, plus we've shown we can go out and get guys who fit our style each year.

Agreed. Mainly about the drama part.
