His only assigned recruiting area is South Texas. (Houston, San Antonio)

Then his job is to accompany the area recruiter for RB's outside of south Texas.

I can appreciate the effort you put forth here however the narrative I was going for was that I haven't seen much out of Davis recruiting wise yet, Ohzigbows I do like but we've sure been accustomed some high quality at RB here for about forever

Yeah I was just saying Davis isn't the main reason we haven't gotten a good one.

I've heard horror stories about him being just a black hole of a person, no pun, it's not wonder he and Bo couldn't be on the same team for long, the man can recruit though whereas Bo absolutely could not

Iirc it came from an Ohio native who knew and coached against VM back in the day in Ohio. Ended up attending a game at Lincoln and couldn't believe it when he saw marrow on our sideline that a school like Nebraska would hire him, and had nothing but bad things to say about him. I'm paraphrasing quite a bit but he went on to say about him VM that for a career football guy the thing he enjoyed the most was the spotlight and that 99% of the turmoil amongst the Ohio players most certainly came directly from VM

I recall back when he left he poached quite a few of our pledges and other prospects straight away so the story about him and KW saying he was going to transfer to Kentucky heavily supported it
