Um yeah. That's shades of LP.

Imma shut up now. It's been working so far.

.

Check this psycho out:

He's so quick off of the line DB's are forced to give him a cushion. They could just run hitch routes to him all the way down the field, but instead he just runs right past everyone.

Sort of. I don't want to jinx anything.

Pretty low expectations for this season (QB/DL), but it looks like things are turning the right direction overall.

Carr runs in the same style as LP. Put him in some red pants and a white jersey with a 1 on it, I wouldn't know the diff. Pretty eerie actually.

Watch Carr on the run at 2:20 in that video Oak posted.

When he's at the 5 yard line he just senses the DB is about to dive at him from behind so he stiff arms him. Like he has eyes in the back of his head.

I agree, he is like LP. Just has the natural instincts of a great RB.

I thought I liked Coan more, then I watched more Gebbia stuff. Tristan is a great prospect and very far ahead for a high school junior

Gebbia's about 30 pounds soaking wet and can throw it 60+ yards.

No idea how he has that strong of an arm.

When he fills out he'll be a beast.

Gebbia has a ready made arm but needs to grow into his body. It's true that we've been finding a lot of interest in big time recruits but you have to capitalize on that and hopefully we do. You can create some great momentum here.

Carr is now at the top of my WANT list. We might be getting some help too...apparently USC is sniffing around the kid that's committed to Bama from Cali (the real #1 RB on Rivals...sorry for that mixup) and so Carr is looking around.

I will need a winning season, preferably 9-3, before I get on the Riley bandwagon. I expect 7-5.

Callahan recruited well but he had Cosgrove.

Riley is recruiting well, but that 121st rated pass defense, the home losing record, and the Big Ten losing record look a bit disconcerting. Not to mention, February 2017 is 11 months away.

In 2016, Nebraska better be something like 6-1 in Lincoln. I expect the road record to be pretty bad. I am pushing for Wisconsin for our groups road game this year, but it might be Northwestern. I am undefeated when I go to Nebraska road games in the B1G. I might just drive down to Bloomington, but I won't tell the wife as she will question it. I might contact my Nebraska Football Royalty friend and see if he wants to go.

I am drinking the koolaid though but I won't be making Koolaid pie again.

I'm all aboard the Riley train. He's our coach, so you're on board or you find a different team.

I just don't see a clear path to Championship footbal yet. I need to see successful football before I really feel comfortable.

I saw the fundamentals of football improve 10-fold from the Pelini era to the Riley era. That much is apparent.

Decision making tho......

That first punt return...he's flying. Man, that would be cool.
