Gary Sharp just claimed this is the first time in school history Nebraska has had two four star WR's in a single recruiting class.

Too lazy to verify.

He's wrong as usual. Both Alonzo Moore and Jordan Westerkamp were 4-star receivers in the 2012 class... unless Moore's designation as an ATH in that class disqualifies that statistic. And even if that's true we had two 4-Star WRs in the 2005 class in Frantz Hardy and Chris Brooks. Neither did much.

never quite understood that designation. If he's good enough to move out into the slot and catch out of the backfield doesn't that make him a really good running back too?

I guess it's a nicer term for scatback. AKA can't run between the tackles.

i'm glad i'm not a scout. first, these highlight tapes do nothing for me. i'd want full game film. i mean what's he doing when he doesn't get the ball? also, what's he doing on the plays where he doesn't get yardage?

He's not gonna be a scatback. 6'0" 180 lb right now. He can put some weight on without losing speed. He'll probably end up being a 5*, top 50 type recruit at least.

Parrella has convinced 5 star DT LSU commit Tyler Shelvin to visit Nebraska on his spring break.

#13 player in the country overall.

Of course Ed Orgeron is the lead recruiter for him at LSU. Riley could have had Orgeron if he wanted him last year. Ed publicly threw his hat in the ring for any coaching vacancy here.

Parrella is an immediate impact hire.

Getting this kid to flip would be the greatest recruiting coup in Nebraska history. What a stud.

Probably means Gebbia committed to Nebraska if you ask me. If not, is there a plan B for Nebraska?

Personally, I liked Coan better than Gebbia because of his heighth.
