I'm thinking Gerber, at 25, is barely a prospect. Looks to me like a future 4th outfielder. However, if the Tigers make no major pickup of an experienced outfielder, Gerber could buy time for Christin Stewart to get some AAA time.

Saw an article on the Tiger prospect rankings, and trade acquisition Daz Cameron is now ranked higher on the OF list than Cristin Stewart.

I figured Daz Cameron would eventually by a better prospect than Stewart, but Stewart being 24, and with a little more minor league experience, I figured he'll get the first shot at major league team - before the 20 year old Cameron. I'm more excited about the Tigers outfield prospects than I am about any pitching prospects they have.
