Organizational depth. I think Montgomery was like 20th on the Angels top prospect list (light hitting OFer with ok speed, probably a 4th OFer ceiling if he ever made it to the MLB) and their farm system is weeeeeeeeak not sure where the pitcher was. About all you could probably expect for Kinsler at this point in his career though.
