Congratulations to the Minnesota Twins and their fans going from a 103 loss season to the playoffs. Just about everyone (including myself) was expecting another 100 loss season from the Twins and the Twins in turn served everyone up a big old shitburger. Gives me hope for the Tigers next year.

The Indians on the other hand surprised no one ... congratulations to them, but they aren't quite the story the Twins are.

About half of the starting lineup got the day off today. I wouldn't be surprised if Mauer was the DH on Sunday though, which would weaken us a bit in the field.
