The Tigers have gone 1-8 in the last two World Series that they've been in.

Fortunately, with the pile of shit that is the 2017 Detroit Tigers and their farm system, we won't have to worry about them representing the ALc in the playoffs anytime soon, much less a World Series.

If Detroit adds Justin Wilson to the deal and Detroit picks up a good chunk of Verlanders contract.....perhaps. But I would not expect a lot in return if LA is willing to take on most of the $67mil JV is owed.
