So, i'm liking this team this year, I think another 100 point season is possible, we just gotta hope Dubnyk doesn't peak in February!

BUT... what the fuck is up with the scheduling? (I hadn't really paid attention to it until now....)

3 road games to start, with 5 days in between the second and 3rd games. Then @ home for game 4, with another 5 days off before game 5, with 5 and 6 (also on the road) on back-to-back nights.

So, in the 1st 3 weeks, 6 games, with 5 on the road and 2 long breaks.

The issue is Parise and his awful contract

And trading Scandella instead of Dumba.

Idk if we can work around those two things tho.

Dumba had the higher ceiling.... just not consistent.

Parise is going to be an anchor.

If they don't go on some kind of extended streak soon, I fear they'll be in too big a whole by January.

I guess i'll have to look back at those texts because you weren't bashing Dumba and you weren't showing love for Scandella. But I guess you are allowed to change your opinions so nevermind.

Scandella did have a bad year overal last year.

But he came on late.

And he's the only guy of our D men with the perfect mix of in his prime, size, D and O in his game.

To be honest Spurgeon and Suter are the only two truly with value.

But Dumba hasn't developed at all and Brodin in my opinion is suter but just worse at everything.
