I didn't see a lot of those shows. But Mrs. Maisel was hilarious. I just started watching Atlanta and that's pretty good.

Game of Thrones as awesome as usual. John Oliver will win again.

Mrs Maisel was good and Atlanta was solid.

I am disappointed in no The Good Place.

I don't think Game of Thrones should win anything.

I just don't think it was a great season for the show. There are better shows out there.

I haven't seen Handmaids Tale, but have heard good things.

I am in the midst of watching the final season of The Americans, and it is good.

GoT was entertaining, but I don't think it deserves an Emmy

If you guys haven't watched Barry go watch it now. Atlanta and Silicon Valley are real good, but Barry was the better show this season.

Probably deserves one for special effects, action sequences, costume design or something of that nature. Writing and overall show quality have been taking big dip for awhile now though.

The Americans was probably the best show I've seen this year.

I can agree on special effects for GoT

Missing because it hasn't aired yet? I don't know how these things work, but that's the only reason I can think of to leave it off the list.
and it was nominated in 2017 for the last full season, I think

Pretty much the same here, I haven't seen many of them. Love Thrones, F Murray Abraham was excellent in Homeland and I thought Godless was solid. Westworld on the other hand was not good

Mrs. Maisel, The Americans over The Handmaid's Tale, SNL, John Oliver, American Ninja Warrior, William H. Macy.. I can't belive he's never won. Frank Gallagher is one of the all-time great sitcom characters, Rachel Brosnahan, Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell over Elisabeth Moss, Ann Dowd, Peter Dinklage, Tituss Burgess.. I quit watching Kimmy Schmidt after the 2nd season but he's terrific, Kate McKinnon, Donald Glover & Tiffany Haddish for their SNL turns, South Park.

I haven't seen most of the nominees, though.

Same reason Veep isn't nominated this year and GoT wasn't last year. Neither qualified because because they missed the season.

Nathan For You got screwed in the comedy department. Halt and Catch Fire should have gotten some drama nominations. Noah Emmerich and Holly Taylor both got screwed out of noms for their work on The Americans. It's also fucking ridiculous SNL gets so many nominations, especially when it largely sucked this year. Just shows how lazy they are and do things on name recognition. ACS: Versace definitely doesn't deserve the Limited Series noms either. All of those should have gone to The Terror.
