This is the Devils team we saw earlier this year. Could have been 5-1 or 6-1.
Since Zajac beat up Gudas he turned things around. How huge would it be if Zajac continues to contribute to the scoresheet.

Game against Ottawa on Tuesday, need to beat that team, then it's tough sledding for a few games.

Trade deadline is February 26th, curious to see if we do anything.

For the first time in a while, I don't think this team will just sell. Goal for the team should be make the playoffs. Even if they lose first round, I think we all will say that's a win after the last 5 seasons or so.

Zajac is energized. I know Penguins played the night before but Devils just dominated that game. Should have been more of a blowout.

Yeah, need 2 against the Sens. just looked at schedule, definitely a tough stretch ahead following that one. I will be at game here in Pittsburgh day after deadline deal, I am almost hoping stand pat unless we can get a solid D rental for minimal return.....which isn't likely.

they absolutely crushed the pens saturday night. that being said they were playing against a rookie goalie and only put up 3 goals against him lol. i'm not complaining cause the pens couldn't even put up 2 against kinkaid.

only addition the team really needs is some complementary goal scoring. zajac continuing his scoring of late would be a huge help i mean the guy did score what 30 one time? so its possible he can score and he really seemed to fit that line with coleman and nosen really well. woods is an absolute beast out there what a find he was they should really look to sign him up long term now and keep that cap hit friendly kid is only going to get better it seems.


at the deadline look to add some goal scoring (if we are in the playoffs still) you can't really go into the first round with two 18 year olds as your top line players. boye is too inconsistent mojo can't stay healthy and palm seems to suck except on the powerplay. i'm fine with the defense since mueller looks to just as good before he got hurt.


i think if the devils get matched up with the pens in the first round they could surprise them. yeah they have a ton of weapons over there but man playing 2 seriously long playoffs.
