Ah yes, the old "hedging your bets" ploy. I tried the reverse with Jcarm last week, but we just split.
Should be fun.
Should be fun.
Jcarm and I could also just keep our bets blind by sending them by PM to Kobe, if he disagrees.
Not saying he will have a beef with the added rules, but I could understand if he did.
I'm fine with either. That's fair. Jcarm....if you don't want to do the prop bets this year (and I understand why that would be), please let me know. I am happy to delay the addition of the prop bets to next year since this would be pulling the wool, so to speak.
Atlanta +3 (UN 59)
Having a tough time deciding OV/UN. Can we choose to change this before kickoff, or am I stuck with this?

2) Which player scores the first TD? ATL
3) Which team is leading at halftime? ATL
4) Which team punts first? NE
5) How many total combined accepted penalties (within 2 of correct answer)? 7
6) Is the first play from scrimmage a run or a pass? Run
7) Which quarter will have the most total combined points scored? 4th
8) Is the last score of the game a TD(including any extra point/2-point conversion) or a FG/Safety? FG
9) Which team attempts more passes? NE
10) Which team has more QB sacks? NE defense has more sacks.

SUPER BOWL LINES:
There will be 1 best bet worth 6 points and 1 O/U pick worth 6 points.
New England vs. Atlanta +3 (59)
I'm also making the executive decision to add some prop bets to avoid the problem of the leader just betting the same as the 2nd place person to ensure victory, like we have had in the past. I'm adding about 10 points worth to keep it interesting. I'll be putting this in the official rules for next year as well (every year we'll do 10 prop bets, but they may not be the same prop bets every year).
Additional bets that need to be made....right answers worth 1 point each:
1) Which team wins the coin toss?
2) Which player scores the first TD?
3) Which team is leading at halftime?
4) Which team punts first?
5) How many total combined accepted penalties (within 2 of correct answer)?
6) Is the first play from scrimmage a run or a pass?
7) Which quarter will have the most total combined points scored?
8) Is the last score of the game a TD(including any extra point/2-point conversion) or a FG/Safety?
9) Which team attempts more passes?
10) Which team has more QB sacks?
Let me know if you have any questions! Have fun!

Before handing out any money, I think you should test Jcarm for any illegal substances.Congrats! $80 coming your way. Next year we'll get it rolling right away and set out the rules in full. Hopefully we can get more players. If so, can do a winner and runner up.
