Sock and Keys both down a set and a break. Obviously Keys is in much more trouble on the women play best of 3.

Wozniacki looks like she's back

Wow did not think Pouille would break back after dropping serve in the first game of the set

Unless Pouille breaks here, looks like a tiebreaker will decide the winner of this match

Bitter sweet. With the way Rafa draw was set up, I thought we were going to have Rafa vs Novak in the semis.

3 french men in the Quarters.

Agreed. I caught the last set. Frenchies have a shot this year.

Yesterday was the day I was at Ashe. Pouille-Nadal was great. I'd seen Lucas before on TV, but had never seen him with the firepower off the groundstrokes. Nadal made some bad errors here and there, but for the most part, he played a good match. It's just that Pouille played just as well and won the 50/50 match.

Beyond that, Noles serve was terrible, but the rest of his game was in championship form. Caroline played awesome. She just hit deep and targeted the Keys backhand. Madison's forehand is title-caliber, but her backhand is still pretty far away. Caroline should beat Sevastova, who has a decent backhand but a second serve that looks like it belongs to a 4.0 player at your local club.

Also, Kerber-Kvitova was a bore. If those are two of the best players in a post-Serena world, I have no idea who would turn in for the big matches. Petra hits big, but she can't get any consistency. Pouille and Nadal had about 40 rallies better than any in the snoozer. It was clearly the highlight of the day, and Lucas definitely won over a lot of the fans.

What's wrong with the matchups on labor day? Murray/Dimitrov, JDP/Thiem, and Kei/Dr. Evil are all good matches IMO.

I just don't think they'll be competitive. JMO. Kei vs. Dr. Evil is the one that interests me the most.

What's funny is that I didn't care for Karlovic 8 - 9 years ago. But now that he's old and still competing well, it's kind of cool.

Also, I just think Sunday had better potential matches with Baghdatis vs. Monfils; Sock vs. Tsonga, Kvitova vs. Kerber, and Keys vs. Wozniacki.

The Monfils one wasn't good, but we ended up getting a surprise classic in Nadal vs. Pouille.

The Australian Open responded about the size. They are really good with email support.

The size of Melbourne Park and Olympic Park together is 40 hectares.

1 hectare = 107,639 sq ft.

40 hectares = 4,306,000 square feet.
