And the dominoes begin to fall. Historically, once they start the shuffling, LOTS of shuffling takes place.

Any word on Rogers? I would guess they are going to let him build on the streak. Once it is over, he will be promoted.

Yeah, we're probably going to see more moves here in the next few days. Unfortunately, Shaw is on a bit of a cold streak and it would be rough to promote him now. Caleb Smith and Tyler Cyr look ready for promotions from Augusta, Rodolfo Martinez and Reyes Moronta are ready to move up. Dylan Davis.

The Volcanoes open up today too.

edit: Also, re: Shaw he is participating in the Homerun Derby for the Cal-League All-Star game, so the Giants will probably keep him down at least a little bit longer after that to make sure his swing doesn't adjust too much.

There is no rush what-so-ever on Shaw. Without ever seeing him, I would actually hope they TRY moving him to left since he is completely blocked at 1B.

He's pretty slow, I mean he's not even that good at 1st.
Similar things were said about Duvall at 3rd. Just saying.

He has already accumulated 0.7 dWAR this season in left.

Small sample size, sure, but how did the Giants not put him in the OF?

Duvall could have been that 30 homer guy you've been looking for, Cal.
But I question whether he could do this if he were a Giant.

Going from the #1 HR-killing park to the #2 HR-inducing park HAS to have something to do with his breakout.

Oddly, his splits show him to be a better hitter on the road than at GAB.

Fair point.

But the Giants team hitting approach is based on the park. So a power-hitting sub-.300 OBP guy doesn't fit. A team playing in a HR park will treat a hitter differently in coaching sessions.

Hybrid relief prospect Tyler Cyr has been promoted to San Jose. That bullpen is crazy good now with Cyr/Moronta/Martinez.

I really thought Suarez was ready for AA after breezing through San Jose. Well, he got lit up again today, and now sports a hefty 6.53 ERA, and the trend is the wrong way. His WHIP is 1.77. He has not given up any homers, but he has given up plenty of hits. Our.

I have a feeling a slew of minor league movement is on the way.

Arroyo or Ali Castillo headed to Sacramento soon, and maybe Hunter Cole too.

That would allow Shaw, C.J Hinojosa and Duggar to advance to AA.

And Dylan Davis and Miguel Gomez can advance to San Jose.
