If Rivera sees his new rookies as having a higher ceiling to justify his release, hard to think Boykin is anything special. Still looks as though the Panthers made a mistake. How could they know what they had in Boykin before even giving him a chance? They maybe saw him for 2 weeks of phase 2 conditioning workouts? I don't know how they could make that call.
