That's a solid prediction. I'd give Dupree & Deebo a slight raise though. Here's my thoughts:
Dupree... 10
Should lead the group since he's the only solidified starter, as of right now. If he comes in this season with better conditioning then I could see him hitting double digits. I'm thinking we see even better things from Bud this season.
Harrison... 7
Always tough to predict since he seems to defy aging (going on 39 years this season). But if he can stay healthy then I don't see why he wouldn't finish 2nd in this group. According to PFF, last season he earned the eighth-highest overall grade among 3-4 OLBs. And he also earned the 7th-best cumulative pass-rushing grade in that group. He may not see the most snaps, but his production is always amazing. This being a potential swan song year, I expect James to give everything he has this season.
Jones... 5
Every offseason we say this is his "make or break season" but he continues to be average. At this point I think we have seen his ceiling. Sadly he's not much more than a rotation player with good upside. He would probably get better numbers if James were ever to miss an extended period of time. So the rotation definitely caps his potential.
Moats... 4
4 seems to be the norm for him. In 2 seasons he has registered that both years. I could see this number dropping this season. Only because I think we are about to see Dupree escalate his game and eat up more snaps. With Jones & Harrison rotating on the right side, it would take an injury before Moats sees any uptick in playing time. He will be fighting for scraps with sub-package type players. He could also be at risk to losing snaps to Chickillo.
Dupree...+1 from mine, but I can agree with you on Bud...he should be taking over the lionshare of the snaps like you said...another year of development and hopefully no soph wall...he needs another move or two imo...hopefully Porter has been working with him on variety.
JH..eehhh...if we include playoff games (hopefully)...I can see that...this guy was talking about 9-10 range and I just didn't see it, but BAL will likely be starting a rookie @ LT. I'm sure Butler will let JH have some shots at the kid.
JJ...Ditto...only thing to add here...JJ knows this is his last chance to make a big enough impact to be a 2nd contract Steeler...I think Butler will give him more snaps...we'll see what he does.
Moats...Ditto.
Overall we have a similar number from this group....I think Butler will send his ILBs a few times like norm and Shazier could get 5 or 6 this yrs and the DL guys 4 to 5 each...this DEF should be better getting to the QB.
