this team is special, offensively that is, unfortunately in PS play we know goals are hard to come by... don't understand AV... he should know this better then anyone! just my opinion, so until that happens it will just be another exciting reg. season, and disappointing PS!

Pressure isn't off...he beat Anaheim and a few easy teams. Not hardly pressure is on... he has to beat Pitt (which drubbed the shirts twice). Columbus starting tonight if Raanta doesn't start and Washington (Hank has beaten)

so the remainder of the season Hank has more pressure to come

Girardi really needs to go he really is terrible. There is no way you can convince me that Mcilrath wouldnt have been an upgrade

Goalies need a little bit of help and Girardi just was terrible on that play.

I dont disagree but goalies still have to make the stop or find a better way to (anticipate, come out more etc) make the save

I agree Rantaa could have come out more and there would have been less of an angle, but you dont expect the defenseman to just abandon the front of the net while on the penalty kill. Thats what Girardi did he went flying behind the net when he had no chance of getting the puck and it left the Dubinsky wide open.

I agree but I think that is also saying something about the whole team they seem to have to warm up into every game. They never come out running.

See Columbus just tried the same move as the first goal but this time Holden was defending and he stayed near the front of the net and was able to break up the play.

that was a great game, exciting to watch.. raanta who hasn't played in 46 days was outstanding, the team is playing like they played early on... if they can get a knock around the crease guy without giving up much, instant cup contender, going in with this defense, doubt it!

I think the defense is trying to anticipate the next move more so they can utilize their speed instead they leave the opposition open. To solve the that they need to watch the play in their end in relation to Hank then move up ice

After the Isle game, I didn't think Hank would perform against the Caps. Well he stopped the Caps and I hope he can show some consistantcy moving forward
