It's been 3 days? And?

A lot of other free agents are having all their meetings and making their decision pretty damn quickly.

Exactly why I'm fine with the Lakers not getting a meeting with Durant. Just about anyone else of note has already agreed to sign (other than Lebron, who isn't going anywhere, and Wade, who just wants more money to stay in Miami). All of this SportsHoopla to stroke your ego and eventually re-sign with the Thunder for a 1-1 deal so that we call all go through this again next year.

Guess there's more to the position/game needed then being great on the perimeter?

Rim protection will always be important. However, the perceived importance of those signings is falsely weighted by cap-inflated salaries. A lot of those signings would've been in the $10-17M range under last year's cap.

Wanna see KD in GS just to see every team panic and do everything to beat the Warriors..

Yeah but everyone will look at KD different then. Especially what he said on Twitter years ago. It's not like the Thunder arent doing everything they can do to accomodate him unlike Lebron in Cleveland.

3 of the 6 were max contracts

No way Howard only gets 10-17..He opted out of what, 24?

Mozgov was shit, but still got paid (4 years)because they needed a CENTER.

Noahs always hurt, but still got paid (4 years) because NY needed a CENTER

You missed the point. Howard's $23M is equivalent to $15M under the old cap (which is 66% of this year's cap). Mozgov's $16M is $10.5M under the 70M cap. Similar with Noah. Those teams needed centers, but you're adding undue value to their signings due to the cap-induced increases in spending. Those max deals are a percentage of the cap, so they are inflated by 34% as well.

Warriors, Clippers, Heat couldn't do more than re up their own guys.

The guy the Spurs wanted, Pau, is waiting on the Durant decision and the Celtics had money to burn.

None of the 5 Teams lost anything that they weren't going to lose anyway.

It's always better to have a chance at a top 3 guy than not.

Please....

We already flushed that turd.

That's how you got him.

Down the road a bit though, after being with the Sixers. You guys actually re-signed Wes, so you're not exactly immune to Laker castoffs.
