I just read that Bazemore is looking for $19-$20 million a season.

Ha ha ha..HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! MY SIDES! THEY'RE IN SO MUCH PAIN RIGHT NOW! HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Get fucking real, Baze. :rolleyes2:

Some dumb ass GM might pay him. I swear myself, @Mecca, @ChiefsLakers67, @Retroram52, and @trojanfan12 could be a better front office than some of these teams have.

You think Ingram is gonna start?...lol

No.

Every story out there says he needs to get stronger.

Why set him up to fail?
Durant was a toothpick when he started at SF...if the team stays as is, I think we gotta throw Ingram out there and let him take his lumps(while gaining experience against starters) as a rookie. He'll be ok

I'd offer Evan Turner 7-8 million per season to backup Ingram. Solid rebounder and passer, he can score a little.

I think Turner will make $13M-$15M for 3-4 years.

that kid needs to hit the weight room in a MAJOR way, but still hoping he gets a lotta minutes...even if it IS off the bench...

He can shoot.

Maybe he can have the kinda year Booker did in Phoenix.

Kid blew the doors off and everyone thought he was years away.

What's sad is that you're absolutely correct. Someone is going to give this guy a huge contract despite the fact that he's done very little in the league. He had one decent season as a starter with the Hawks and a few good Playoff games and that's about it. The idea of paying him $20 million a year is mind boggling to me.

This. I've heard comparisons he could be a poor mans KD.

True.

He will have extreme issues vs. James, Durant, Melo, Pg and Kawhi.

But, so does the rest of the league.

Baptism by fire.

Disagree about rim protection being almost unnecessary. The Warriors could have used some in the recent finals.

If he can make up for some of the young guys defensive mistakes and average in the neighborhood of 7-10 rebounds per game, it'll be a plus.

Also, with the money we're seeing thrown around out there, what the Lakers are paying him may actually be backup center money.

I don't think rim protection is unnecessary. Post defense is though.

Rim protection and pick and roll defense are equally important, IMO. The best defensive centers are good at both, or great at one and average at the other. The bad ones are bad at both. I think Mozzy is in between, but not a good overall defender.
