Which is exactly how most Mustang purists feel. I'm not a huge fan of Ford muscle cars (prefer Chevy and Mopar) but a '70 Boss 429 is pretty hawt.

They will put the 5.0 back in, but will probably be a limited variety to help with MPG fleet goals. 300 HP on the V6 is pretty solid, but will sound like shit. Besides, if they can get 300, then a few garage mods can get that up quite a bit more pretty easily.

I am pretty sure I've heard there won't be any mitsubishis in the US after this year. They can't pass the safety ratings so they are pulling out. I'll look for that, swear I read it.

Edit: Never mind, it is Isuzu and Suzuki leaving. Same diff to me

I think most, since '99 anyhow, have really liked the styling and performance. Each new design has had some nice upgrades. I like this one as well, still has the Mustang look IMO.

I'm not a big fan of the new generation of mustangs. It might take a few years for them to grow on me. I like the idea of a IRS but a lot of purists that I know are mostly track guys and prefer the solid rear axle. I'm thinking of just putting a blower on my 13 and make it go faster and wait four or five years and see if the new generation gets better.

Ehh , there were a couple decent ones..;-)

My Favorite all-time (close second to the 1970 Chevelle SS454) is a 1970 Olds 4-4-2 so I guess I shoulda included Oldsmobile. And third would be a 1970 Plymouth GTX - man those nice straight, square Mopars were just jaw-dropping!
