As of 6/26 according to this site, there will be no new Chevelle model in 2016.

Update: 06.26.2015.
We have received an update from ultimatecarsreview.com, who have taken it upon themselves to investigate this potential release of the new Chevelle SS and their findings are rather compelling.
One of their writers entered a live chat support on Chevrolet’s official website where he directly asked about the 2016 Chevrolet Chevelle SS and whether it is really coming to a showroom near you next year.

I was thinking the exact opposite. The rear looks just like a 70-72 Chevelle. I like the dual 1970 headlights but something is way off on the front.

I'm not surprised to be honest. I was puzzled by the lack of pics. If the car was ready to be in dealerships this year, there'd be spy photos by now.
